Private First Class Bernard Anthony Zambrano
Let us not forget Private First Class Bernard Anthony Zambrano, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, PFC Zambrano served our country until March 17th, 1969 in Binh Hoa, South Vietnam. He was 22 years old and was not married. Bernard died from artillery fire. His body was recovered. Bernard was born on May 27th, 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut. PFC Zambrano is on panel 29W, line 065 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for less than a year.
