Let us not forget Sergeant First Class George Creighton Vassey, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, SFC Vassey served our country until August 4th, 1968 in Gia Dinh, South Vietnam. He was 33 years old and was married. George died from a heart attack. His body was recovered. George was born on September 14th, 1934 in Mechanicsville, Virginia.

SFC Vassey is on panel 49W, line 010 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 10 years.
