Let us not forget Warrant Officer Charles Clifford Van Allen, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Reserve, WO Van Allen served our country until May 16th, 1968 in Long An, South Vietnam. He was 20 years old and was not married. Charles died when his helicopter crashed into the land. His body was recovered. Charles was born on September 26th, 1947 in Bellingham, Washington.

WO Van Allen is on panel 61E, line 020 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for less than a year.
