Private First Class Roland Michael Bowen
Let us not forget Private First Class Roland Michael Bowen, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, PFC Bowen served our country until January 31st, 1968 in Gia Dinh, South Vietnam. He was 20 years old and was married. Roland died from small arms fire/grenade. His body was recovered. Roland was born on December 20th, 1947 in Iron City, Georgia. PFC Bowen is on panel 35E, line 087 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for less than a year.
