Corporal Marvin Reed Painter
Let us not forget Corporal Marvin Reed Painter, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, CPL Painter served our country until May 6th, 1969 in Quang Tin, South Vietnam. He was 22 years old and was married. Marvin died from small arms fire/grenade. His body was recovered. Marvin was born on November 25th, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio. CPL Painter is on panel 25W, line 013 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for less than a year.
