Let us not forget Corporal Gary Nels Nelson, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Marine Corps, CPL Nelson served our country until June 4th, 1966 in Quang Nam, South Vietnam. He was 21 years old and was not married. Gary died from an undetermined explosion. His body was recovered. Gary was born on December 24th, 1944 in Glendale, California.

CPL Nelson is on panel 08E, line 007 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 2 years.
