Sergeant James Pierpont Morgan
Let us not forget Sergeant James Pierpont Morgan, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, SGT Morgan served our country until March 11th, 1966 in South Vietnam. He was 25 years old and was married. James died from multiple fragmentation wounds/mine. His body was recovered. James was born on March 26th, 1940 in Saluda, North Carolina. SGT Morgan is on panel 06E, line 001 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 10 years.
