Let us not forget Private First Class Perry Metzler, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, PFC Metzler served our country until February 14th, 1971 in Kontum, South Vietnam. He was 30 years old and was not married. Perry died from weapons malfunction. His body was recovered. Perry was born on October 11th, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan.
