Let us not forget Sergeant Bobby Joe Martinez, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, SGT Martinez served our country until May 11th, 1968 in Quang Tin, South Vietnam. He was 22 years old and was not married. Bobby died from small arms fire/grenade. His body was recovered. Bobby was born on March 27th, 1946 in Fort Wingate, New Mexico.

SGT Martinez is on panel 58E, line 023 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
