Let us not forget Private First Class Michael J Kochendorfer, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, PFC Kochendorfer served our country until January 29th, 1966 in South Vietnam. He was 20 years old and was not married. Michael died from weapons malfunction. His body was recovered. Michael was born on October 16th, 1945 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

PFC Kochendorfer is on panel 04E, line 111 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
