Let us not forget Specialist Four Jay Franklin Geyer, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, SP4 Geyer served our country until April 8th, 1967 in Kontum, South Vietnam. He was 21 years old and was not married. Jay died from small arms fire/grenade. His body was recovered. Jay was born on March 15th, 1946 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

SP4 Geyer is on panel 17E, line 121 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
