Let us not forget Sergeant Ward Gunard Walter, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, SGT Walter served our country until November 29th, 1967 in Binh Hoa, South Vietnam. He was 50 years old and was not married. Ward died from small arms fire/grenade. His body was recovered. Ward was born on October 13th, 1917 in Minot, North Dakota.

SGT Walter is on panel 31E, line 008 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 18 years.
