In Memory of
Private First Class John Thomas Smith

Let us not forget Private First Class John Thomas Smith, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, PFC Smith served our country until January 31st, 1968 in Gia Dinh, South Vietnam. He was 20 years old and was not married. John died from multiple fragmentation wounds/mine. His body was recovered. John was born on November 1st, 1947 in West Babylon, New York.

PFC Smith is on panel 36E, line 036 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for less than a year.
