Let us not forget Lance Corporal Michael George Barton, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Marine Corps, LCPL Barton served our country until July 13th, 1966 in Quang Nam, South Vietnam. He was 20 years old and was not married. Michael died when his vehicle crashed. His body was recovered. Michael was born on June 1st, 1946 in Charleston, South Carolina.

LCPL Barton is on panel 09E, line 019 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 2 years.
