Let us not forget Private First Class Jessie Earl Harris, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, PFC Harris served our country until January 31st, 1968 in Gia Dinh, South Vietnam. He was 22 years old and was married. Jessie died from multiple fragmentation wounds/mine. His body was recovered. Jessie was born on January 12th, 1946 in Peoria, Illinois.

PFC Harris is on panel 36E, line 013 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
