Let us not forget Specialist Four Sergio John Gherardini, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, SP4 Gherardini served our country until January 31st, 1968 in Kontum, South Vietnam. He was 21 years old and was not married. Sergio died from multiple fragmentation wounds/mine. His body was recovered. Sergio was born on August 5th, 1946 in New York, New York.

SP4 Gherardini is on panel 36E, line 010 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
