Let us not forget Specialist Four Douglas Eugene Crooks, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, SP4 Crooks served our country until April 2nd, 1971 in Thua Thien, South Vietnam. He was 22 years old and was married. Douglas died from small arms fire/grenade. His body was recovered. Douglas was born on March 14th, 1949 in Boone, Iowa.
